As the dean of students, I work with students (and parents and teachers) in the areas of attendance, discipline, and general student life; preparing the student/parent handbook is one of my major job responsibilities. I coordinate our health and safety program and am responsible for developing and maintaining our emergency management plan. I coordinate the admissions process for international students (including foreign exchange students) and am the director of the Mercy Ambassadors Foreign Exchange Program here at Assumption. I also chair the Diversity Steering Committee and serve on the Student/Faculty Advisory Board.

I began my teaching career at Assumption in August 1978, and, in May 2008, I was made an honorary graduate in honor of completing my 30th year here.

Outside of Assumption, I serve as a minister of hospitality at my parish, the Cathedral of the Assumption.
